Our story
In 1976, Mr. Bonnet Roger was 31 years old. Graduated from CNAM, he already has a good experience in laboratory and chemistry workshop.
A few years of experience as a sales engineer for scientific optical equipment for medical research completes his training.
He then created the Franklab company, specialized in detergents and hygiene. In 30 years, the company has developed strongly, moving twice to the Yvelines (78) and now has an international clientele and recognized health products.
In 2008, in view of a capital restructuring, he creates with his son Frank and his technical director and friend Wissam a holding company named FB INT’L, (short for Franklab international). The latter then holds 100% of the capital of the Franklab laboratory.
Independent Franklab entities are created in Asia, Mexico, Portugal… and the growth continues.
In 2015, the holding company structures the group into 3 business areas. It sold 30% and then 40% of the shares of Franklab, which operates in the Europe/Africa zone.
The holding company buys an industrial building in Mayenne and its shareholders consider the future of the Franklab brand.
In 2020, On December 22, after 4 years of friendly and trusting exchanges resulting in a fruitful collaboration, the new shareholders of Franklab feel ready to take over the reins and buy the remaining 60% of the capital.
FB Int’l remains the owner of the Franklab brand and its shareholders decide to develop the other 2 areas as well. Frank Bonnet, the son takes some responsibilities.
Based in Mallorca, he coordinates the new legal and financial operations in view of a renewed growth and renewal of the group. A computer scientist by trade, he organizes digitalization to prosper in a changing world. Wissam, the partner and lifelong friend, an engineer from Centrale Paris, based in Taiwan, has already been in charge of the Asia Zone for years.
In 2 years Valentin, a new entrant, is operational from Querétaro in Mexico for the development of activities in Latin America.
The FB.INT’L management decides to maintain the research contract with INRAE for the development of new products.
In 2021, On June 1st, FB.INT’L changes its name to FB PRODUCT and the head office is moved to Mayenne. A new laboratory installed in the premises in Mayenne is operational. One workshop has already been operational since 2017.
FB PRODUCT now manufactures products under contract and offers services for the 3 Franklab zones in the world.
Innovative products are being studied and discussed with the ANSM.
Change, evolution, innovation, digitalization… are underway to build a group for the future!

The future project of our biotech laboratory FB Product© is defined by the following points:
- Company name change to FB Product©.
- Moving and transfer of the head office
- The development of the premises in Mayenne, 2 buildings totalling more than 5000m2
- Construction of an R&D laboratory and a workshop meeting the standards for the production of cosmetic products
- New hires of people
- The purchase of high-performance production equipment
- Product manufacturing and service billing for Franklab
- The continuity of research and development in chemistry
- Product innovation and the exploitation of this Research & Development
Production of hydroalcoholic gel
Our laboratory began by manufacturing a hydroalcoholic gel for hand disinfection. This gel is marketed by the company Franklab to hospitals and other health institutions. Our biotech laboratory FB Product was able to help fight Covid 19 as soon as it arrived in France.
Innovation is our passion
Covidium
The detergent action of the surfactants present in Covidium soap allows the destruction of the envelope of coronaviruses such as Covid 19. We will demonstrate in our laboratories that Covidium, with a non-biocidal formulation, is very effective even at low doses with minimal contact time (see data sheet).
TFD Premium
The detergency of surgical instruments is rethinking for a better destruction of protein soils containing infectious amyloids resistant to conventional cleaning procedures. By meeting the requirements of the ANSM’s SPP 2018, our product becomes a must-have innovation.
